Eventerprise Announces Corporate Social Responsibility Initiative in Cape Town Hub

By: Guest Author

As a company setting the pace within the ongoing platform revolution, it’s appropriate that the operational hub of Eventerprise is located in Cape Town, South Africa–one of the fastest developing cities in the world. Eventerprise.com is an early-stage multi-sided SaaS platform that connects transparently reviewed event businesses with private or corporate clients who want to organise an event. The platform is quickly setting benchmarks in terms of the recruitment and retention of top talent, and aims to be the first global platform operating with a complement of at least fifty-percent Young Gun and PostGrad interns.

As part of the fifty-percent goal, Eventerprise is excited to announce a corporate social responsibility initiative that aims to increase the number of domestic Young Gun and PostGrad interns from previously disadvantaged backgrounds. As many young South Africans pursue tertiary educations, they still struggle to gain the practical skills necessary for success in a competitive global economy. Eventerprise seeks to equip talented and highly motivated individuals, especially from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, with the skills they may otherwise lack through our Young Gun and PostGrad programmes, where University students and recent graduates can develop digital, business management, and leadership skills that will help them be successful in their chosen careers.

These internships are available to current university students (Young Guns) and recent graduates (PostGrads) looking to gain experience in the following areas:

Sales, Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Business Management, Back – and Front-end Development, Graphic Design, Financial and Operational Management, Data Management, and Human Resources.

Young Guns and PostGrads are given the opportunity to work on project focus areas that include global go-to-market strategies, future trend innovation, consumer dynamics, competitor analysis, and investor outreach. As part of the Eventerprise promise, interns gain experience at the senior management level, grow their personal and professional leadership abilities, exercise critical thought, and learn how different business components operate together. Furthermore, as part of our team of young people from all over the world, interns will develop a broader global perspective that is crucial for a career in the tech industry.

Through their involvement in high level, social engagement projects, such as case studies and the implementation of current research, Young Guns and PostGrads also play a central role in understanding and curating the impact of our business. Eventerprise consistently aims to have a positive social impact across its platform and within all internal and external operations. Through this campaign, Eventerprise provides a space for highly talented and motivated individuals, who otherwise lack the opportunity to participate in the economy, to gain the skills they need for life-long careers.
