Father and Son Caterers was started by father and son duo, George and Richard Staffen in 1990 at the St George Cricket Grounds in Port Elizabeth, where they are till this day.

George was an hotelier and owned the Markham Hotel in Military Road. Richard went to hotel school and worked at the Elizabeth Hotel in Port Elizabeth and the Royal Hotel in Durban as a food and beverage manager. 

Father and Son Caterers cater for formal, company and home functions, for anything from 10 to 4 500 people.
