I have always been an artist. I was told that even at the young age of 2 years old I would carry around art supplies. Over the years my love of art only grew. I began doing paintings for friends and family. I would paint anything that I could get my hands on; canvas, walls, windows, hand blown eggs and even kids.
After my last child was born my sister in law suggested I do face painting for birthday parties. I was intrigued. After my first job I was hooked. I was able to combine my two favorite things, kids and art, into a career. I have owned funny faces since 2003 and love it. My greatest accomplishment so far has been painting for the discovery channel for shark week. I feel so blessed to be chosen for this event!
I have a degree in child development with love and logic and Nurtured Heart training that has helped me with my career of working with children. I have over 20 years experience and love every minute of it. I have done everything from working in the classroom with infant care through Jr. High, teaching art classes, working at public preschools and even owning my own day care. In 2011 opened my own preschool called creative outlets. I continue to look forward to my future in working with children and art.
