Magnolia Kitchen was started back in November 2011 and was born out of owner Bets’s love of baking, cake decorating and all things sweet, old fashioned and vintage. We spend our weeks making fudge, marshmallows (known as edible clouds), macaroons, baking and decorating cakes, cookies, cake truffles and cupcakes for events such as weddings, birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, dessert tables, farmers markets and more.
Where possible we use local products that are as fresh as we can possibly source. We also use Whittakers Chocolate products throughout our old fashioned sweet treat range. Our team are passionate about all things baking related… from baking accessories and tools to flavour combinations, all things vintage and vintage inspired and, of course, decorating our yummy treats to suit any occasion.
Everything you see on our menu has been tried, tested and made from scratch using only the best ingredients available. “Pre-mix” and “store bought” are dirty words in our kitchen all our cakes and cupcakes are available in a range of designs starting from simple iced up to the most extravagant custom design. Our pricelists are basic and will only specify “starting from” prices as most of our work is custom designed for each customer and prices will vary depending on the degree of detail, design and time required.
