Recreation Africa Leisure Industries is a leading hotel group in South Africa. Our investment in the hospitality industry began some 22 years ago and in that time Misty Hills Country Hotel, Conference Centre & Spa together with the Carnivore Restaurant and Kedar Heritage Lodge, Conference Centre & Spa have grown in reputation and status and have become favoured destinations for many.

The group is distinctly Africanand we consciously endeavour to promote African art, culture, cuisine and hospitality at every level. We offer a proudly African experience. The materials and furnishings we use in creating our properties are truly African in origin. We plant indigenous gardens and the products that we use in our hotel rooms and at our spas are crafted out of African herbs and oils.

Kedar Heritage Lodge, Conference Centre & Spa offers visitors and conference delegates the perfect escape from the hectic pace of modern living. Situated in the North West Province of South Africa, just 21km from Sun City, it is built on a portion of Boekenhoutfontein, the historic farm that once belonged to President Paul Kruger. The award-winning, internationally renowned Carnivore restaurant needs little introduction! Situated in the grounds of the Misty Hills Country Hotel, Conference Centre & Spa, it recently celebrated its 20 year anniversary and continues to provide Africa’s greatest eating experience.

Misty Hills in Gauteng and Kedar the North West Province are home to some of the most exquisitely appointed spas in the country. Among our many accolades, our spas have featured as finalists in the ‘Health Spa of the Year’ category, and have been consistently voted among the top five spas in South Africa. Well-being and relaxation are important components of our spa experiences. We take a natural approach to body and skin care, fusing ancient African beauty treatments with modern health therapies.
