Based on the Devon/Cornwall borders, The Spit Roast Specialist is an established family business with a reputation for friendly and efficient service. All our pigs are sourced locally and cooked to perfection in our mobile spit roasting machines for a minimum of 5 hours, resulting in a succulent roast with the crunchiest of cracklings.

Our trained chefs roast the pigs on site from raw, then carve and serve with fresh bread rolls and delicious home-made apple sauce – or you can choose from suckling pig, wild boar, lamb, hogget or venison, depending on the number of guests at your event. Our smokeless spit roasting machines gives us the freedom to cook wherever you want us to – from barns, village halls and marquees to agricultural shows, village fetes and beach parties.

We can also provide a gas barbecue service for your party or event. See our menus for more information on barbecue food. We can also hire out the barbecue separately, delivered to and collected from your venue of choice.

We have the flexibility to meet your needs and will tailor our service to suit you. We are happy to stand alone, providing starters, salads, desserts and waitress service if required, or we can happily work in tandem with your chosen caterer or event organiser.

All our equipment is also available for hire only, enabling you to organise your private party with ease. We can cater for up to 120 guests, but can easily cater for more on request.
