Our Agile Team Delivers the Goods
As CEO and co-founder of Eventerprise Götz takes the lead in all key aspects of the business, with special emphasis on overall strategy, sales, marketing, and product development. His 20+ year experience of developing marketing-, branding-, and customer-experience strategies and an enthusiastic leadership style have played a pivotal role in Eventerprise’s evolution from incipient idea to active global platform with participation in 80+ countries.
Götz has played a leading role in the conceptualisation and development of the Eventerprise infrastructure, including its decentralised global hub-and-spoke model that ensures the right team talent at an affordable cost.
His passion for entrepreneurship has seen Götz establish and lead two other companies to success before Eventerprise. He founded GT Consulting, a management coaching and project management consultancy in Cape Town in 2002, followed by the founding of Power2U!, a Cape Town-based marketing services, digital communication, and events consultancy, in 2008.
A 25-year veteran of the global events industry, Charlie brings invaluable industry insights and the proven ability to supervise large commercial operations and foster new relations to the Eventerprise executive team. As co-founder his portfolio includes the driving of overall vision and strategy, taking the lead in international investor outreach, and presenting the Eventerprise value proposition to strategic partners.
Charlie founded Harlequin Marquees and Event Services in 1996, which over the next 15 years he grew into the Middle East's leading provider of infrastructure and event services for corporate and sports events. In 2008 Harlequin was acquired by the Arena Group, one of the world’s largest event rental, design, and management conglomerates.
Charlie’s ability to see a vision through to its commercial culmination and in-depth understanding of the pain points that confront event suppliers and their clients have played decisive roles in the initial conceptualisation and ongoing development of the Eventerprise platform.
As Strategic Growth Officer, Birgit is part of Eventerprise’s executive team and responsible for a broad portfolio that includes corporate affairs, finance and operations, and global talent acquisition. Her twenty plus years in executive and operational management roles within the global airline industry adds substantial business leadership and customer experience insight to the Eventerprise management team.
Prior to joining Eventerprise Birgit ran her own management consultancy for two years, assisting leading brands with business development strategies that incorporated customer experience management, customer contact strategies, and change management.
This was preceded by nine years working for the Lufthansa Aviation Group, which culminated in her promotion to Group Managing Director of the GTS Group, giving her responsibility for Lufthansa’s entire international Customer Service Network, with revenue of 62M euros per annum across seven global locations that employed 1,800 people.
A statement of intent
There are those who ride the wave and there are those who create it. We pay tribute to the latter by doing the same. These are the courageous, determined human beings who understand the real power that events represent. The mavericks. The entrepreneurs. The revolutionaries. Those with vision, and the fortitude to make it real.
