Eventerprise Privacy Policy

Updated December 3, 2019

EVENTERPRISE is deeply committed to respecting and protecting your right to privacy and takes your privacy seriously. We strive to keep your personal and financial information secure. We have prepared this privacy policy to disclose and describe our information gathering and dissemination practices for this website.

Most of all, we value your privacy. We do not sell, rent, loan, or give your email address or other personal information to anybody without your express permission.

EVENTERPRISE provides this Privacy Policy to inform you of our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of the personal information we receive from users of www.EVENTERPRISE.com (the "Site"). This Privacy Policy applies only to information that you provide to us through the Site. This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Site. You are advised to consult this policy regularly for any changes. Unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy, terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our EVENTERPRISE Terms of Service, accessible at Terms of Service, unless specified otherwise.

As used in this policy, the terms "using" and "processing" information include using cookies on a computer, subjecting the information to statistical or other analysis and using or handling information in any way, including, but not limited to collecting, storing, evaluating, modifying, deleting, using, combining, disclosing and transferring information within our organization or among our affiliates within the United States or internationally.

Our Policy Towards Children

The Service is not directed to persons under 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that his or her child has provided us with Personal Information without their consent, he or she should contact us, immediately, at [email protected]. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with Personal Information, we will delete such information from our files.

Information Collection and Use

Our primary goals in collecting information are to provide and improve our Site, services, features and content, to administer your use of our offering (together, the "Service") and to enable users to enjoy and easily navigate the Site.

Personally Identifiable Information

If you choose to create a Listing or make a booking, you must register via the Site to create an Account. When you (i) register with us through the Site to become a “SUPPLIER” or “HOST”, (ii) choose to add information to your profile webpage or (iii) create a Listing, we will ask you for personally identifiable information. This refers to information about you that can be used to contact or identify you ("Personal Information"). Personal Information includes, but is not limited to, your name, company name (if applicable), phone number, credit card or other billing information, email address and home and Venue postal addresses, as applicable. We use your Personal Information mainly to provide the Services and administer your inquiries.

You may register to use the Services directly via the Site or by logging into your account with certain third-party social media or social networking services ("SNS") via the Site, as described herein. If you decide to register through an SNS, we will extract the Personal Information you have provided to the SNS (such as your name, email address and other information you make publicly available via the SNS) from the account you have with the applicable SNS and use that information to create your Account. The specific information that we extract may depend on the privacy settings you have with the SNS. By accessing our services and connecting through an SNS, you consent to our accessing and collecting the Personal Information that you have provided to the SNS.

We also collect the other information that you provide as part of registration, creation of Listings and the administration and personalization of your profile webpage (e.g., without limitation, postal code (on its own) and individual preferences) ("Non-Identifying Information").

We use your Personal Information (in some cases, in conjunction with your Non-Identifying Information) mainly to provide the Services, complete your transactions, and administer your inquiries.

Certain Non-Identifying Information would be considered a part of your Personal Information if it were combined with other identifiers (for example, combining your postal code with your street address) in a way that enables you to be identified. But the same pieces of information are considered Non-Identifying Information when they are taken alone or combined only with other non-identifying information (for example, your viewing preferences). We may combine your Personal Information with Non-Identifying Information and aggregate it with information collected from other EVENTERPRISE Users (defined below) to attempt to provide you with a better experience, to improve the quality and value of the Services and to analyze and understand how our Site and Service are used. We may also use the combined information without aggregating it to serve you specifically, for instance, to deliver a product to you according to your preferences or restrictions.

We also use your Personal Information to contact you with EVENTERPRISE newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. If you decide at any time that you no longer wish to receive such communications from us, please follow the unsubscribe instructions provided in any of the communications.

Log Data

When you visit the Site, whether you have registered via the Site as a SUPPLIER or HOST or are a non-registered user just browsing (any of these, an "EVENTERPRISE User"), our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type or the webpage you were visiting before you came to our Site, pages of our Site that you visit, the time spent on those pages, information you search for on our Site, access times and dates, and other statistics. We use Google Analytics and other third-party APIs and software to collect, monitor and analyze this information in order to increase our Site's functionality and user-friendliness, and to better tailor it to our visitors' needs. Accordingly, Log Data is shared with Google and other such third-parties, which have their own privacy policy addressing how it uses such information. We encourage you to review this privacy policy to understand how Google uses such information. Please contact us at [email protected], if you need a list of the other third-party API and software that we use to collect Log Data, in order to examine their privacy policy. We also use this information to verify that visitors to the Site meet the criteria required to process their requests. We do not treat Log Data as Personal Information unless we use it in association with other Personal Information. We may aggregate, analyze and evaluate Log Data for the same purposes as stated above regarding other Non-Identifying Information.

Like many websites, we use "cookies" to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer's hard disk for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies for two purposes. First, we utilize persistent cookies to save your login information for future logins to the Site. Second, we utilize session ID cookies to enable certain features of the Site, to better understand how you interact with the Site and to monitor aggregate usage by EVENTERPRISE Users and web traffic routing on the Site. Unlike persistent cookies, session cookies are deleted from your computer when you log off from the Site and Service and then close your browser. Third party advertisers on the Site may also place or read cookies on your browser. You can instruct your browser, by changing its options, to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from the websites you visit. If you do not accept cookies, however, you may not be able to use all portions of the Site or all functionality of the Services.

Emailing Via an EVENTERPRISE Account

As part of the Services, SUPPLIERS and HOSTS may communicate with each other through the use of their Accounts. Where a SUPPLIER or HOST has selected the option of adding an email address to an online form, the message they create in the corresponding template will be sent from EVENTERPRISE to that email address on their behalf.

Identity theft and the practice currently known as "phishing" are of great concern to EVENTERPRISE. Safeguarding information to help protect you from identity theft is a top priority. We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information, your Account login information in a non-secure or unsolicited e-mail or telephone communication.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

If you create a Listing, EVENTERPRISE Users will see the content of your Listing and your contact information. You can choose what Personal Information you provide as part of your Listing. We recommend that you guard your sensitive information. As a HOST, if you request a Service/Product/Venue, request a quote or make a booking via the Services, we may share your name, phone number and email address with the applicable SUPPLIER in order to fulfil your request or booking, as applicable.

If you place an order / request a service or make a booking of a venue via the Services, we will share your Personal Information, including, but not limited to, your name and email address, as well as other information about your booking / request / order, (e.g. the number of attendees, the type of event) with the applicable SUPPLIER so that such SUPPLIER can coordinate the booking / request / order with you.

Aggregate Information and Non-Identifying Information

We may share aggregated information that does not include Personal Information and we may otherwise disclose Non-Identifying Information and Log Data with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes. Any aggregated information shared in these contexts will not contain your Personal Information.

Service Providers

We may employ third party companies and individuals to facilitate our Service, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform Site-related services (e.g., without limitation, maintenance services, database management, payment processing, web analytics and improvement of the Site's features) or to assist us in analyzing how our Site and Service are used. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

We may also provide Personal Information to our business partners or other trusted entities for the purpose of providing you with information on goods or services we believe will be of interest to you. You can, at any time, opt out of receiving such communications.

HOSTS and SUPPLIERS may link their Accounts with certain SNS. In these instances, with your permission and on your behalf, we will share information about your activities on the Site and Service, which may include your Personal Information, including, but not limited to, information contained in any Listings, with the applicable SNS. Through use of such services' APIs, as stated above, we also receive certain information (which may include your Personal Information) in accordance with the privacy settings you have set in your SNS account, if any. Other than what we may share with the SNS in connection with your linking of accounts, the personal information an SNS has about you is obtained by the SNS independent of our Service. Other services follow different rules regarding the use or disclosure of the personal information you submit to them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies or statements of the other services you use.

Compliance with Laws and Law Enforcement

EVENTERPRISE cooperates with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and comply with the law worldwide. We will disclose any information about you to government or law enforcement officials or private parties as we, in our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate to respond to claims and legal process (including but not limited to subpoenas), to protect the property and rights of EVENTERPRISE or a third party, to protect the safety of the public or any person, or to prevent or stop activity we may consider to be, or to pose a risk of being, illegal, unethical or legally actionable activity.

EVENTERPRISE is very concerned with safeguarding your information. We are not in the business of providing information security. We do employ limited data security measures, such as encryption, on some but not all systems. Do not provide your personal information if you are concerned with its disclosure.

We will make any legally required disclosures of any breach of the security, confidentiality, or integrity of your unencrypted electronically stored "personal data" to you via email or conspicuous posting on the Site in the most expedient time possible and without unreasonable delay, insofar as consistent with (i) the legitimate needs of law enforcement or (ii) any measures necessary to determine the scope of the breach and restore the reasonable integrity of the data system.

International Transfer

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. Eventerprise stores, processes and transmits information in the United States and locations around the world - including those outside your country. Information may also be stored locally on the devices you use to access the Services. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of such information represents your agreement to that transfer.

NOTE: We collect, store and process the following personal data, as defined in the GDPR, which is similar to Personal Data, defined above, as part of the browsing and registration process. If you are a European resident or a visitor to Europe and you access our platform from a location in Europe, you have the right to:

Request access to your personal data. This enables you, the data subject and owner of the personal data, to receive a copy of the personal data that we are storing on you and to check that we are lawfully processing it.

Request correction of the personal data that we hold about you. This enables you to have any incomplete or inaccurate data we are storing on you corrected, though we may need to verify the accuracy of the new data you provide to us.

Request erasure of your personal data. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal data where we no longer need your personal data and no good reason for us continuing to process it. You also have the right to ask us to delete or remove your personal data where you have objected to our processing your personal data or where we are required to erase your personal data to comply with local law. Notwithstanding, we may not always be able to comply with your request for erasure for specific legal reasons which we will communicate to you, if applicable, at the time of your request.

Object to Processing. You may object to our processing of your personal data even if we are relying on a legitimate interest (e.g., billing or other contractual provisions) and there is something about your particular situation which makes you want to object to such. You also have the right to object where we are processing your personal data for direct marketing purposes. We will provide you with the reasons why we need to continue to process your personal data.

Request restriction of processing of your personal data. You may ask us to suspend the processing of your personal data in the following scenarios: (a) if you want us to establish the data’s accuracy; (b) where our use of the data is unlawful but you do not want us to erase it; (c) where you need us to hold the data even if we no longer require it as you need it to establish, exercise or defend legal claims; or (d) you have objected to our use of your data but we need to verify whether we have overriding legitimate grounds to use it.

Request the transfer of your personal data to you or to a third party. We will provide to you, or a third party you have chosen, your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. This right only applies to automated information which you initially provided consent for us to use or where we used the information to perform a contract with you.

Request not to receive promotional emails from us. If you wish to not receive additional promotional emails, which you initially consented to as part of the registration process, from Eventerprise please email [email protected] or follow the unsubscribe options in the promotional emails.

Withdraw consent at any time to process your personal data. You may withdraw your consent at any time to our access to and use of your personal data. However, this will not affect the lawfulness of any processing carried out before you withdraw your consent. If you withdraw your consent, we may not be able to provide certain products or services to you. We will advise you if this is the case at the time you withdraw your consent.
